Home Sweet Home

The day finally arrived to close on our new home! God continues to show us confirmation that HE has been behind ahead of us the whole time in the BIG move.

Kaleb calls this his "rock star" view. There is a fountain in the middle of the pond and at night as he goes to sleep he watches it while it is lit up.

Kaleb's room

Guest room....always been a catch all spot. Please give warning when coming to visit so we can find your bed!
When we moved from GA to OH, Caterpillar hired the movers to pack us, move us, and unpack us. This purchase of the new house was a voluntary move so moving was on us. God bless Kevin...the week after buying the house and going to GA for a short trip, he took a week off to pack and help get things moved. We did make a good investment and hire a moving company to move what boxes were packed as well as the furniture. That was the best decision we could have made because we still made multiple trips to get the stuff we didn't get boxed. That wore all of us out.

ugh not another box!
Since moving in a month ago, we have improved our new home in several ways. Kevin hung 2 ceiling fans, Kaleb and I went to the pumpkin patch and got some pumpkins and corn to decorate the porch, hung blinds, stained the desk, and other odds and ends tasks. We look forward to unpacking the last few boxes, decorating, and being settled in our new home we LOVE.

Taking time to catch up!

Well, we woke up this morning to Kaleb having a fever. After a visit to the dr., we are now lounging on the couch and relaxing. I decided it would be a good day to catch up on the blog as well as other things.

Doesn't he look pitiful!
